Confidentiality Statement: As school counselors, we have an obligation to our students to maintain confidentiality with the best interest of the student and the parents / guardians in mind. Our goal is to maintain the trust of our students and their families. Although confidentiality will be maintained, there are ethical limits. Information will be kept confidential unless someone is hurting the student, the student wants to hurt someone else or themselves, or the student expressly gives permission to share with a trusted adult.
